This is how I make my tones - I have a few pre-recorded dry samples for different styles, and I loop them while use Axe-edit to change the tone. I keep my Axe-fx connected to my FRFR speaker for the output - there probably is a way to reroute it back into the PC to play through your PC speakers (but my advice would be not to, as the sound will not be quite accurate). The audio will now play through the Axe-fx. Change the input setting (I believe it's the first setting in the list) to USB. I assume you could also set it to use combination out 1 and out 3 or equivalent to record one dry track and one processed track.Ĭreate a new audio track, and record your audio. This will record the dry, unprocessed guitar output only. Set the inputs to input 1: Axe-fx output 3, input 2: Axe-fx output 4. can't remember what it's called exactly) then find the audio I/O settings. ![]() ![]() The way I do it is to open reaper, open the settings (or preferences. Reamping with reaper via USB on a PC is very simple. You may have already found your answer but I'll post it here in case anyone else has the same query. ![]()
